An antique English, solid sterling silver 'Hovis Bread' thimble.
Extremely collectible!
CONDITION
: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. One or two small dents. May benefit from a clean.
DEFECTS
: None.
DATE/MARKS
: English hallmark for Chester 1913. Maker's marks HC&S.
DIMENSIONS
: 19 mm long (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 1.9 grams.
